I am an applied microeconomist working on the topics at the intersection of environmental, resource, and development economics. My work primarily investigates the causal effects of environmental policies and climatic shocks on economic outcomes, including labor markets, health, and human capital. My research has been published in leading journals such as Land Economics, Environment and Development Economics, and Review of Development Economics. I work at Arizona State University as a Dean's Postdoctoral Researcher and am a fellow at the Global Labor Organisation (GLO). In August 2025, I will join Muskingum University as an Assistant Professor.

I completed my Ph.D. and MS in Economics at the School of Economics, Georgia Institute of Technology. I received an undergraduate degree from Mumbai University and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, India.

In my life before economics, I worked in Industry for more than 7 years in different roles such as sales, marketing, process improvement, operational excellence, and business strategy.
